Turnlane was created by Alex Clark, a social entrepreneur, facilitator, strategy partner, and change guide. He leads all aspects of Turnlane’s work in powering purposeful change in the social sector.
Previously, Alex worked in several strategy and leadership development capacities at GE Healthcare, Allina Health, and the Collective Action Lab. His work is shaped by his training in social psychology, healthcare administration, strategy, and organizational change. Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, a master’s degree in Organizational Development and HR Management from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, and a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from the School of Public Health at the University of Minnesota.
An old-soul Millennial, Alex cut his teeth in the world at the dinner table listening to his mother talk about her work as a therapist. His vocational interests are informed by a number of influences, which include his parents’ careers serving others, his many mentors, and the untimely loss of his beloved father, Peter. Alex is a Minnesota native and resident of Northeast Minneapolis. Outside of work, he can be found riding his bike, surrounding himself with close friends and family, and exploring the North Shore of Lake Superior.
