Meet the team
Alex Clark

Alex Clark is an executive coach and organizational consultant with 15 years of experience partnering with nonprofit, for-profit, and government organizations. His work focuses on coaching Director, VP, and C-suite leaders and supporting teams and boards in developing readiness for succession and leadership transitions.
Since 2017, Alex has worked to build and lead Turnlane, a boutique leadership and strategy consultancy that serves dozens of health and social benefit organizations, both for-profit and nonprofit.
Additionally, Alex is highly engaged in several nonprofit boards. He currently serves as Board President for the Minnesota Network of Hospice and Palliative Care (MNHPC) and as an Advisory Board member for the Peter Clark Center for Mind, Brain, and Education at Breck School. Previously, he served as a Community Board member for the Cora McCorvey YMCA in Minneapolis.
Previously, Alex worked in several strategy and leadership development capacities at GE Healthcare, Allina Health, and the Collective Action Lab. His work is shaped by his training in social psychology, healthcare administration, strategy, and organizational change. Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, a master’s degree in Organizational Development and HR Management from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, and a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from the School of Public Health at the University of Minnesota.
Alex’s vocational interests are informed by a number of influences, which include his parents’ careers serving others, his many mentors, and the untimely loss of his beloved father, Peter. Alex is a Minnesota native and resident of Minneapolis. Outside of work, he can be found cross-country skiing, exploring the North Shore of Lake Superior, and taking long walks with his wife and their cattle dog, Lula.
